LABORATORY OF SUSTAINABLE BIORESOURCE MANAGEMENT (BIOREM), INTROP, UPM, STRENGTHENS RESEARCH NETWORKING AND PROMOTES LABORATORY SERVICES THROUGH AT UNIVERSITY MALAYSIA PAHANG AL-SULTAN ABDULLAH (UMPSA)
Gambang, Pahang, 11 June 2026 – A research networking and collaborative visit to the Bioaromatic Research Centre (BARCE) and the Faculty of Industrial Sciences and Technology (FSTI), Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), Gambang, Pahang, was successfully conducted. The programme was participated in by nine staff members from the Laboratory of Sustainable Bioresource Management (BIOREM), Institute of Tropical Forestry and Forest Products (INTROP), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). This networking aimed to establish strategic cooperation with UMPSA while introducing INTROP’s research expertise, laboratory facilities, and analytical services. Furthermore, the initiative served to advertise postgraduate study opportunities to prospective researchers and students. The knowledge-sharing sessions provided opportunities for constructive discussions, exchange of expertise, and sharing of experiences in research and innovation areas of mutual interest. In addition to enhancing the professional network between the two organizations, these exchanges also opened up possible avenues for further strategic cooperation.
